Our Ofsted number is 2798428
At The Red Kite Kids Club, we offer a range of activities tailored to the interests of our children.
After-School Care: We provide after school care services, offering a safe and supportive environment for children after the school day ends. During this time, your child can enjoy socialising with friends, exploring a variety of child-led activities, or opt to participate in the adult-led session.
Enrichment Activities: We offer a variety of enrichment activities led by an adult, which have been designed to engage children in fun and educational experiences, such as arts and crafts, sports, games and more.
Snack Time: A fruit snack is served to all children at approximately 3:45pm. Children staying beyond 4:30pm are also provided with a cold light snack, consisting of a sandwich/crackers, fruit, a biscuit and water. Children do not need to bring their own snack.
Supervised Play: Children have the opportunity to engage in supervised play both indoors and outdoors, promoting physical activity, social interaction and creativity.
Flexible Scheduling: We offer both advanced and ad hoc booking options to support the needs of busy families. When possible, we recommend booking your child’s sessions on a half-termly basis to secure their place. Subject to availability, ad hoc bookings can be made up until 6pm the day before the required session.

At The Red Kite Kids Club, safeguarding children is our top priority and it underpins everything we do. To ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care, we have our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Mrs Victoria Bradley, who is responsible for overseeing children’s safety and well-being. In Mrs Bradley’s absence, the school's Headteacher, Mrs Jacqui Hopkins serves as the club’s deputy DSL.
We encourage anyone with concerns about a child, no matter how small they may seem, to approach our DSL, our Deputy DSL or any of the club’s staff members. All staff are fully trained in safeguarding and child protection and are available and approachable should you need to speak with someone. Your concerns will be handled with sensitivity, confidentiality and urgency to ensure the safety and well-being of all children under our care.
All our policies and procedures are regularly updated to comply with government legislation and our site undergoes continual risk assessments.
