Welcome to The Red Kite Kids Club - a friendly, caring place where children can relax, make friends and have fun after school. Established and managed by a qualified primary school teacher, The Red Kite Kids Club is built on the belief that an after school club should a safe, supportive and engaging environment. We value play, creativity and positive relationships, providing carefully planned activities, themed experiences and opportunities inspired by the children’s interests. Our dedicated team know the children and families well, creating a warm and welcoming club where every child feels valued and supported.Guided by our motto, Explore, Create, Play, we provide a safe and supportive environment where children can choose from a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, games, sports, construction, reading, role play and outdoor play. We also offer adult-led themed activities inspired by the children’s interests.After a busy school day, children can enjoy a fruit snack and some calm time before choosing how they would like to spend their afternoon. Children staying after 4:30pm are also offered an additional light snack.The club is Ofsted registered, has a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 and our team is trained in safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, GDPR and Food Hygiene. All staff have enhanced DBS checks.The club is managed by Vicky Bradley, a qualified primary school teacher, alongside Anna Pilbeam, who holds a Level 2 qualification in Working with Young Children.We are open Monday to Thursday 3:30pm - 6:00pm, and Friday 3:30pm - 4:30pm. We offer both in advance and ad hoc bookings, subject to availability, and eligible families can use Tax-Free Childcare towards our sessions. Families may also be eligible for other types of childcare support so please do check your options via the Best Start in Life website.The Red Kite Kids Club is a relaxed, friendly place where children can unwind, have fun and enjoy their afternoon - with plenty of opportunities to Explore, Create & Play!
