At The Red Kite Kids Club, ensuring the safety, security and individual well-being of the children under our care is of utmost importance. We are committed to providing a safe, happy and caring environment. At The Red Kite Kids Club, safeguarding children is our top priority and it underpins everything we do. To ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care, we have our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Mrs Victoria Bradley, who is responsible for overseeing children’s safety and well-being. In Mrs Bradley’s absence, the school's Headteacher, Mrs Jacqui Hopkins serves as the club’s deputy DSL. We encourage anyone with concerns about a child, no matter how small they may seem, to approach our DSL, our Deputy DSL or any of the club’s staff members. All staff are fully trained in safeguarding and child protection and are available and approachable should you need to speak with someone. Your concerns will be handled with sensitivity, confidentiality and urgency to ensure the safety and well-being of all children under our care. All our policies and procedures are regularly updated to comply with government legislation and our site undergoes continual risk assessments.
